John August talks about The Nines

John August, the director of the upcoming movie The Nines, has talked a bit more about his movie on his official blog. The shooting of The Nines has finished. John August says it's a tiny movie and an honest-to-God feature film. About the release, he says the movie may get a release by the end of 2007 in festivals, but more likely in 2008 in theaters if a distributor buys it. He aims for a drama, hopefully funny in places. The not-yet-officialy-titled movie is broken into three parts like his past project Go. That's about what's new - sadly not much, but he says "[...] In coming weeks and months, I'll write more about the process." Stay tuned for more info !
