Willem Dafoe, Hayden Panettiere, Shannon Lucio, Ioan Gruffudd and George Newbern are joining the ensemble cast of "Fireflies in the Garden," a project already boarded by Carrie Anne Moss, Julia Roberts, Emily Watson and of course, Ryan Reynolds.

Dennis Lee will make his directorial debut from a screenplay he penned. The story is loosely based on Lee's life and explores the complexities of love and commitment in a family torn apart when faced with an unexpected tragedy.

The independently financed project is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Austin.

I love Ryan's work. I would like to see him in a dark and deep love story. I was really inpressed with him in Amityville horror. I believe it was better than the original. Very sexy and well done. Keep the beard and messy hair if you decide to do a deep love story Ryan! That would be the bomb!
