When it comes to choosing which of the Hollywood movie stars can fill the shoes of the late and great Elizabeth Taylor, it is not an easy decision.  However, recently it was rumored that a certain actress has been in talks to star as Taylor in a Lifetime movie.  Though, the actress in consideration may very well surprise you, Lindsay Lohan.

Recently we haven’t seen much acting from the Long Island native.  Instead she has repeatedly been in the news for all the wrong reasons.  Back in 2007, she was officially charged with her first misdemeanor DUI.  Subsequent to that she violated probation numerous times, most recently being this past November.  That violation lead to a very brief stint in jail.  The latest news surrounding Lohan was her decision to pose nude for Playboy in a stimulated Marilyn Monroe photo shoot.

Though, playing the part of Elizabeth Taylor may just be the boost that Lohan needs.  The project has been in development since May and is being overseen by producer Larry Thompson.  Playing Taylor may also not be such a stretch for Lohan as Taylor also experienced her fair share of high and lows throughout her career.
