Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is about two lovers having extremely contrasting personalities but their fate is intertwined with feelings of love and hate. Arnav believes that every thing in the world can be achieved at a price. For him the medium of reaching any end is through the power of money. Khushi on the other hand believes in being passionate, hardworking and polite. She wants to live her dreams by striving for them. In Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Arnav is controlling and egoistic where Khushi is helpful and compassionate. The story reflects how opposite’s attract and initially both have strong repulsive feelings for each other still later on find themselves drawn towards each other. Arnav has no moral values and ethics he can go to any measure to get what he wants as for Khushi she holds her morals in high self-esteem.
